Was a gift but looked brand new

Bought as a gift for a great price. Not sure about the context as it was she requested for christmas however she was ecstatic the box looked new and was a great price. Thank you I will be looking for books on your site in the future as she likes to have a book to read not a tablet and its nice to be able to find them.

Beauty for Ashes

I could be considered prejudiced. I love Joyce Meyer. I've been to a couple of her conferences and i've read a couple of her books. I like Joyce Meyer because she speaks plain english. She's not out to tickle your ears. And the insights that she has in understanding the Bible and its practical application for today's living is invaluable. Contrary to overall opinion, we need to apply the Bible in our lives now more than ever. And if anyone has ever been the victim of any type of abuse and is trying to find a way to no longer allow the pain of the memories to continue to control their lives, and if you truly believe that our God is a God of comfort and love, this is a must read for you. I came away feeling a lot healthier and a little more healed than when I started.
